We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resource Advisor to kick start their career and join our growing team. This role will be based in our R&D and Training site in Shannon Vale, NSW. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be responsible for providing advice and support across the employee life cycle to deliver on the overall HR strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coach people leaders on effective people leadership and management practices
  • Manage general recruitment for all sites in consultation with the executive team
  • Manage the HR Inbox providing first line advice and guidance to employees
  • Support with lower level disciplinaries and grievance matters
  • Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices
  • Assist with all administrative aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Support with high volume recruitment campaigns.
  • Keep the Human Resource Information System up to date and well managed.
  • Provide general HR operational support and assistance to HR projects, as required from time to time, with the company director and the rest of the executive team

To be successful in this position you will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with outstanding attention to detail, excellent HR experience and possess a HR generalist background. You must also have strong ability to build stakeholder relationships and become a trusted advisor.

You're a perfect fit if you have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with exposure to Employment Relations.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, the Modern Awards system, National Employment Standards, WorkSafe QLD, WorkSafe VIC, SafeWork NSW and other related legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Build trust, actively listen, and effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally in person.
  • Formal qualifications in HR are highly regarded, however, we understand working experience comes in all shapes and sizes, so we encourage those who have had exposure to employee matters to apply.

Annual Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (plus Super plus monthly and yearly Performance Bonuses)
